Throw Back. Jefferson Square in Downtown New Orleans.

Here is a picture from 2007 when my cousin came to visit Louisiana.  He was hoping to visit New Orleans, so we set out with our cameras to shoot around. The weather was a little rainy, overcast, and uncooperative-but we managed, barely.  As a result, there was a lot of "what if I tried this?" moments.  Here is picture of the Saint Louis Cathedral in Jefferson Square, one of the last pictures I took as the sun was coming out.  Any comments or suggestions would definitely be appreciated!

You are Beautiful.

The weather this weekend was great, so Lida and I took the opportunity to head downtown and explore.  My advice is to ask advice before you do something like this.  With the sunlight quickly fading, an error-proned GPS, and full tank of gas, it was good to get out.  Here are a few shots from downtown.

A few local artists are creating quite a stir in the Birmingham area.  As one person put it, the soon to be ubiquitous "You are Beautiful" signs- seen here on Richard Arrington Jr Blvd.
