Torah's First Birthday

You can see and order photos here.

Opening Day (night) - Regions Field and the Birmingham Barons

I had a chance to go to railroad park today and took the photos below.  Across the street from railroad park the workers were working furiously to complete Regions Field before the Baron's opening game tomorrow night.  Anyone want to go?  The area is turning out to be a pretty cool place if you haven't had a chance to swing by and check it out.

Easter... Wilson Family Photos

Here is my Easter post.  Apparently, Easter is a great time for families to take a photo because everyone is in their Sunday's best.  Flowery dresses, twisty hair styles, bow ties, and all that good stuff.  I appreciate it.  As long as we know that it is the resurrection of Jesus Christ we are celebrating.

Here is a photo of the Wilson family in commemoration of Easter.  Pastor Todd Wilson is my pastor at Grace Covenant Baptist Church here in Vestavia Hills and I've had a great opportunity getting to know him and his family. Since moving to Birmingham in 2009, the Wilson's have opened up to their home to me and Lida (my beautiful wife) and really encouraged us to be faithful where God's place us.  If you're hungry for the Word of God, join us on Sundays!

Don't Mess with the Law... Torah's BDay Preview

Johnson Family Photos - My first honey baked ham

A few weeks ago I had a chance to take photos for Marianne Johnson and her family on her 24th birthday.  I know Marianne through optometry school and she is legit. I'm talking a prayer warrior, faithful follower of Christ, and incredible student. What I learned is that her whole family is pretty much like that also. I spent a few minutes with them and I honestly could say I was among God's people.

I was so happy.  Great people, great time for photos, and some great food.  This is silly, but I'll have to confess. For lunch, Marianne's mom got a "Honey Baked Ham".  Yes, the same piece of ham that was a topic of a Seinfeld episode.  I'm actually craving some now that I'm thinking about it. To confess, it was must first time having some honey baked ham and I will say, I am a fan.  Big fan.  That crispy outside and salty goodness inside. Sigh. It's good. I remember two things that day.  I'm thankful for God's people and their encouragement and for honey baked ham.

The rest of the family photos can be found here.
